Office/HR Manager

We are seeking an Office/HR Manager to oversee office administration and human resources functions. This role is equally focused on office management and HR management, ensuring a balanced approach to both employee and administrative needs. Key responsibilities include employee management (16-30 employees), onboarding, performance tracking, payroll coordination, office organization, and maintaining company culture.

The ideal candidate should have experience in HR processes and office management, with the ability to implement structured systems that promote efficiency and a positive work environment. Additionally, this role requires proficiency in technology and software applications, as well as a commitment to continuous learning and training development for employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Office Management Responsibilities

Supervise administrative support staff, including office assistants.

Manage office operations, including ordering supplies, tracking equipment, and handling IT issues.

Oversee facilities management, including alarm systems, phone systems, and office maintenance.

Handle company vehicle tags, licenses, and insurance.

Maintain and oversee liability insurance, workers’ compensation, state and city licenses, and employee benefits to ensure compliance and proper coverage.

Coordinate internal events, including company celebrations, interviews, and training sessions.

Maintain accurate records, files, and correspondence related to HR and office management.

Human Resources Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of employee management, including onboarding, performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations.

Manage recruiting and hiring processes, including job postings, reviewing applications, and coordinating interviews.

Conduct exit interviews and manage employee separations professionally.

Manage time tracking, PTO requests, and employee attendance.

Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and company culture.

Ensure compliance with HR policies, labor laws, and OSHA standards.

Oversee employee benefits and serve as a point of contact for HR-related inquiries.

Establish an onboarding training program tailored to each role, ensuring new employees receive position-specific training.

Develop and maintain training on company technology platforms, including Miro, Motion, JobNimbus CRM, and others.

Promote a culture of continuous learning by implementing training on the latest industry trends, safety regulations, and department-specific knowledge through platforms such as SaferHub, NRCA, and other relevant sources.

Qualifications & Experience

3 years of experience in office manager.

1 years of experience in HR management or related roles.

Knowledge of HR policies, employment laws, and payroll processes.

Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to multitask.

Proficiency in HR software, Microsoft Office, and time-tracking tools (e.g., ClockShark).

Experience in recruiting, training, and employee relations preferred.

Ability to learn and train employees on company technology (e.g., Miro, Motion, JobNimbus CRM, SaferHub, NRCA, etc.).

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
