The people who answer for the work

Our team

Owner

Jacob North

Founded the company in 2019 after rising to Senior Project Manager at a local roofer. Still walks jobs.

Bid Administrator

Maria Karpaitis

Runs the bid desk — the reason a Gulf South estimate arrives itemized and on time.

Process and Marketing Manager

Sarah Davis

Owns the processes that keep 1013+ projects consistent, and the voice you read on this site.

Operations Manager

David Allen

Keeps crews, materials and schedules moving in the same direction every morning.

Purchasing and Inventory Manager

Lacy Smith

Sources the coil, shingle and fasteners — coastal-rated, and on the truck when the crew needs it.

Production Manager

Denise Valles

Runs production day to day — tear-off to closeout, cleaned up every evening.

Accounting Manager

Amber Ladner

Keeps the books straight so warranties, deposits and closeouts are never a mystery.

Sales Rep

Joey Lacy

The name in half our five-star reviews. Walks the roof, shows the photos, tells the truth.

Office/HR Manager

Jazmin Wilson

First voice on the phone, and the person who makes the same-business-day call back real.

And the crews. The people above run the company; the crews build the roofs. They are Gulf South Roofing employees — trained, tethered, and named in our reviews for how they treat lawns, flowerbeds and driveways. One reviewer put it best: “I have never seen a roofing team tether themselves for safety as did this team from Gulf South.”
